Easy Peach Crisp with Oats

Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 4-5 fresh peaches about 4 cups, sliced
  • 1 tbsp arrowroot or cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla (optional)
Topping
  • 1 c rolled oats
  • 1/2 c almond flour
  • 1/3 c maple syrup or honey
  • 1/3 c melted coconut oil or butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt

Equipment

  • 1 8x8" Baking Dish
  • 2 Mixing Bowls
  • Measuring Cups & Spoons
  • 1 Spatula or Spoon
  • 1 Paring Knife
  • 1 Peeler

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease an 8x8" baking dish
  2. Peel and slice the peaches
  3. Toss peaches with cornstarch, sweetener, and vanilla. Add to dish
  4. Mix oats, flour, cinnamon, salt, coconut oil, and maple syrup
  5. Crumble topping over peaches
  6. Bake 35–40 mins or until golden and bubbling
  7. Cool slightly before serving warm
