Ingredients
- 1.5 cup dates, pitted & softened (put in a bowl of warm water for ~10 minutes)
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup of nut butter of your choice
- 2 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup of almond flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- dark chocolate chips
Steps
1
Put 1.5 cups of pitted dates into warm water. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2
In a food processor, combine your water, nut butter, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, almond flour, baking soda, and dates (once softened). Pulse until a smooth consistency.
3
Fold in chocolate chips, mix it with a spoon or spatula (measure with your heart).
4
Pour brownie mixture into an 8×8 parchment paper-lined glass baking dish.
5
Bake for 40 minutes, then remove and let cool before slicing. *I like to check mine at the halfway point and turn it in the oven for even baking!
